If you can't

Many of the horses that come to Redemption Road Rescue are costly to rehabilitate, due to their poor health. However, by sponsoring a horse, you will help cover the rehab costs and potentially ensure its survival. Sponsorships are a more personal way to donate, because you get to pick which horse or project you'd like to support. Sponsoring is a great alternative to those who lack the means to adopt an animal or are unable to actively volunteer.

A full sponsorship for a horse is a commitment of $200 a month, which covers the intake exam, feed, medications, supplements, farrier care, vaccinations, and other vet bills as long as the horse a resident at the rescue. You can also make a monthly donation amount of your choice for the care and rehab of one of our residents. No amount is to small. Some horses that currently need sponsorships are pictured to the left. More can be found on our Major Stories page.

Contact us to become a sponsor. Donations can easily be made through our PayPal account or by mailing donations to 130 Cooper Anderson Rd, Jackson, TN 38305.

If you can't

First and foremost, our goal is to find forever homes to the rehabilitated horses that have entered through our gates. If you or someone you know is looking to buy a new horse, we encourage you to consider adopting. At any given day, we have a diverse selection of dozens of horses. Here you could find your next trail blazer, barrel racer, 4H pony, pasture companion, training project, lesson horse, and more. To encourage adoption, we keep our rehoming fees reasonably low, covering the cost of vaccinations, feed, training, and vet bills. We're not in the market to make a profit - only to continue rehabilitating as many horses as we can.

If you are interested in adopting a horse from Redemption Road Rescue, please review our current list of availabilities and the adoption process.

If you can't

Every day at Redemption Road Rescue is operated 100% by volunteers. You don't have to be an expert horseman in order to help out; you just need a passion for helping animals. Volunteer positions include, but are not limited to: daily feed and care of horses, facility maintenance, fundraising teams, event planners, heavy machinery operators, horse transport, special projects, networking, and more.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Redemption Road Rescue family of volunteers, please contact our volunteer coordinator Patti Simpson at (615) 289-0777, or email redemptionroadrescue@gmail.com.

The easiest way you can help Redemption Road Rescue is to spread the word. We understand the power of word-of-mouth and the impact it can make.

  • If someone you know is struggling to maintain their horses due to health or finances, tell them about us and how we can help.
  • If you come across a property where the horses appear to be neglected, contact your local sheriff's department or appropriate authorities, and they will decide the next steps to take.
  • If you or someone you know is looking to acquire a new horse, consider adopting from Redemption Road Rescue. Countless horses have left our gates to become the perfect companions.

Follow us on Social Media! Redemption Road Rescue has an active presence on Facebook and Instagram, where we share updates on our residents, current availabilities, major news stories as they unfold, upcoming events, photos of the horses, and more. Like and share our posts to help us spread the word and expand our cause. By joining us on social media, you are helping us reach people across the country and around the world!

Over the course of a single year, Redemption Road Rescue holds nearly a dozen fundraisers and benefit events, and participates in local charity events. We boast a stellar all-volunteer fundraising team, allowing us to procure additional life-saving funding for our animals and facility. Attending fundraisers is a fun and personal way to become further involved in our cause. Our benefit events range from yard sales and open houses to 5K races, silent auctions, and our annual Make It Shake It Martini Party.

The current schedule of special events can be found on our Facebook Events page. We hope to see you at our events!

The only funding we receive comes from private donations and adoption fees. Donations can be made as one-time gifts, as monthly gifts, sponsorships, in the form of supplies, or as service projects. No donation is ever too small, and every donation made to Redemption Road Rescue is tax-deductible.

On an ongoing basis, we need the following items for the horses: $20 buys one bag of grain, $25 buys one hoof trim for one horse (each horses is trimmed every 5-6 weeks), $50 buys one round bale of hay, $100 buys one dental float for one horse, $150 covers the Intake Exam, vaccinations and worming for one new rescue, $200 sponsors one horse for one month.

Donations can easily be made through our PayPal account or by mailing donations to 130 Cooper Anderson Rd, Jackson, TN 38305.
